Podping is Live!

Episodes uploaded to RSS Blue will now appear faster in podcast players.

Podping is a notification system that alerts others when an RSS feed is updated. Instead of waiting for podcast directories to recrawl your feed, Podping will let them know when it's needed.

Although Podping is in the early stages of adoption, the Podcast Index already uses it. Because many players utilize the Podcast Index, you can expect your new episodes to appear there a lot faster now.

You don't need to do anything to take advantage of this system. RSS Blue will automatically alert the Podping when you update the podcast or individual episodes.
